"My first awareness of London came from watching Christmas movies as a child. My favourite being 'Oliver!', the 1968 film by Carol Reed. A far cry from the rural Irish town I grew up in, London seemed to be bursting with excitement, colour and adventure. I've been in awe of it ever since.
Now, having lived in London for a couple of years, these pictures are my first impressions of the city, and in particular the more affluent parts of it. The areas with 'fine airs and fine graces' "
